Many people miss God speaking because they are waiting to hear a big booming voice. They begin to complain because they feel that God is not talking to them and that there must be something wrong with them. They get discouraged and want to give up. But if they would just stop talking and do what the bible says, "be still and know that I am God." Be still and listen! Don't talk just listen!
They miss what God is saying and one day they will stand before him as he asks them, why didn't you do what I asked of you? They will say but God I didn't hear you! The cool thing about it all is even though. Even though we miss God speaking. Even though we talk too much. Even though, God will still continue to speak to us and then we begin to realize that sometimes He whispers.
Don't miss out, listen and listen and listen until you hear. Strain your ears and open them and you will hear the words of God in just a whisper.
